Lawrence Valin is the best incarnation of the current rebirth of French cinema. Lawrence is a multi-talented artist. He is a visionary director, an amazing actor and a great artistic director.

He joined the program La Résidence de La Fémis and directed the short film "Little Jaffna", for which he received the Grand Prix Cinébanlieue as well as the Canal + Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival. In 2019, he directed a short film " The Loyal Man " which was selected at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival in National and International competition and won the ADAMI Award for Interpretation, Best Actor for Lawrence Valin. Since then, he has been concentrating on writing his first feature film, " Little Jaffna x Eelam ", which received writing grants from the CNC and the Ile de France Region. The film will be about the infiltration into the Tamil gangs of Paris.
